Biogas Flare Propane Augmentation

APS delivered a propane augmentation control system to enhance the performance and reliability of a biogas flare system. The solution included full design, panel fabrication, PLC/HMI programming, and commissioning, with seamless integration into existing operations. Operators are able to define a target propane-to-biogas ratio, with the system automatically adjusting and maintaining the required propane flow rate in real time. This approach ensures stable combustion, improved flare efficiency, and consistent compliance with operational requirements.
