WWTP Sludge Wasting System

APS developed and implemented an automated sludge wasting control strategy for a membrane bioreactor (MBR) system. Operators can define daily sludge wasting volumes for each of the two MBR trains, with the system intelligently distributing wasting events over a 24-hour period. This approach ensures consistent and controlled sludge removal, improving process stability and treatment performance. The solution reduces operator intervention while providing a more reliable and optimized wasting process.
